Beloved Family & Friends:

Grace and peace!  I kept saying: “In the name of Jesus!” [while lying in my bed].
On the 2nd May, 2018 at 3:30 a.m., I was arm robbed while alone at our Paynesville Home in Liberia. The arm robbers took off the security bar to the bathroom and entered our home. With one pointing a gun and a flashlight at me, my fragile body (from head to toes) was covered by the robbers with our family quilt, while the robbers took away my cell phone, computer, work bag, and the US$1100 intended for construction mission work in Sarpawean Village Academy, Margibi County. Thankful to be alive! So tired, I fell asleep peacefully after saying my prayers about 4:45 a.m., until the tropical birds at the window woke me up. Sadly again, I got little or no help from the local Police like in the case of my stolen pickup last November.

Kindly pray for:

1) Our Family’s safety and the security situation around Liberia and the world;
2) 80 students at Sarpawean Village Academy, Margibi County, as well as the school building project;

3) 229 Teachers’ In-Service Training(Tentative:  2nd July – 31st August) in the Paynesville, Montserrado and Margibi Counties. Pray for the Volunteer Teachers:

  • Dr. Augurie Stevens,
  • Mr. Emmanuel Gaye,
  • Mr. Samuel V. Reeves,
  • Dr. Moni Perkins;

4) Dr. & Sis. Tar-U-way Richard Allen Bright as they serve as Senior Pastor, Turner Chapel AME Church, Marietta, GA and celebrate 25 years of ministry;

5) Aunt Letitia Reeves, as she celebrates her 80th Birthday, 4th July!

6) 14 gallons of palm oil produced from Grace Gardens. Prayer Garden plans are underway along the Du River, Margibi County; Thanks to John Mannie, Oiafa Martin, Moses and Martha Clarke for their hard work.

7) Financial support: $100 monthly support for a teacher; $24 for a student; $3500 per classroom building project; $480 monthly Missionary Support for living expense, $7K for a used vehicle (preferably a pickup);

8) Partnership: Volunteer Mission Teams, Trainers, Teachers;
9) Bibles, Educational Materials and supplies;
10) Laborers as we Go and share the love of Jesus, saving souls, equipping saints.
