Save and Clean Drinking Water
According to World Vision’s report on Africa: “Nearly 1,000 children under age 5 die every day from diarrhea caused by contaminated water, poor sanitation, and improper hygiene.”

Together, we can provide save and clean drinking water and sanitation to 95% of Liberia and the most vulnerable populations in the hardest-to-reach places. Your partnership and our 30+ years of hands-on community mission experience position us to build sustainable, community-owned save drinking wells. Local teams account and provide reports to donors on funding.

Our Progress
Since 1999, 100% of fund received for water projects have gone directly to water sanitation projects (browse photo gallery above). We are called to serve, so we go!

Choosing a Location
Our partners select water point locations based on geography and assessments of need. Partners also seek to build strong and healthy relationships, so as to have each community participate in the building and sustaining of the water points.

Selecting Partners and Best Practices
We select partners based on their demonstrated community centered approach, excellent financial report and support for our mission to provide sustainable, save drinking water, sanitation and hygiene programs. We are striving to be among the best in the world at bringing clean water to people in need. We work with experts to know which approaches are most effective, to ensure that our programs utilize best practices in the field. We provide quality cost-saving water projects.

Ensuring Sustainability
We invest in forming strong water committees, partnering with local leaders, and training residents/villagers and mechanics to construct and perform repairs. Our Programs team carefully monitors during and after implementation. We frequently check up on our work in the field and we bring in external evaluators to independently assess projects. We are beginning to map projects on Google Maps, types of projects, area and number of people being helped.

Solutions
Bringing clean water to people is different in each country, depending on the sources, terrain and population. We are called to serve God and the villages/towns. Skilled laborers dig up to 15 meters to reach aquifers below to have hand-dug wells. Drilled water-well reaches fresh aquifers. We also build bathrooms providing water safety and privacy to users.
