2019 Liberia Teacher Training Workshops will be held in two locations within Monrovia: 1st – 5th July and 29th July – 2nd August. Estimated Teacher Training budget is $7500. Kindly partner with Go Ye Ministries Liberia USA, Inc. to support the training of 290+ teachers from 50+ schools, impacting some 15,000+ students.
Liberia’s pop. of 4.73m (2018), with 2.5% growth rate, 40% of the pop. under age 15; 1.5m live in Monrovia; 80% of pop. lives on less than $1.90 per day. 61.9 % of primary-school-aged children are not enrolled in primary school due to poverty. 67% unqualified primary teachers; The ratio of teachers to students was 1:145 (2016).
