In January 2024, Go Ye Ministries Liberia got off to a great start with fundraising efforts for Slakpawein Village Academy (SVA). Special Thanks to you, our faithful individuals, churches and organizations, for generously donating to our school to pay for teacher salaries, roof repairs and school supplies.
On January 8th, Slakpawein Village Academy welcomed more than 80 students for the start of an exciting school year. With a passionate team of teachers and staff, we have struggled to support each student’s growth and learning journey.

Spotlight on our Children
Go Ye Ministries is focusing on spotlighting SVA students for their academic performance. In the March–April 2023 newsletter, we featured four students: 10-year old Sameria Johnson, 14-year old Archieboy Liberty, 13-year old Isaac Varney, and 10-year old Armonchie Sarweh. This year, donors had the opportunity to sponsor a child, bringing positive change to the lives of our Slakpawein Village Academy students through their generosity.
2025 MISSION TRIP PLAN UNDERWAY
In January, February and March 2025, volunteers will embark on a ten-day Go Ye Mission Trip to Liberia, coordinated by Bishop Lynda Brown Hall and Nevertheless Ministries. The itinerary is packed with meaningful stops, including visits to local churches, meetings with community leaders, and special time with the staff and children at Slakpawein Village Academy. Next Level, Next Generation

IN MEMORIAM
We remember William Trent Hilliard, a devoted servant of God and cherished member of our Go Ye Ministries Liberia USA family. Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, he dedicated himself to advancing our mission and supporting communities both near and far. As a former Board Member, William’s influence was invaluable; his guidance and wisdom enriched our ministry’s work and inspired all who had the privilege of serving alongside him. His legacy of faith and compassion will continue to resonate within Go Ye Ministries as we strive to honor his commitment to serving others in Christ’s name.
