Liberia’s tropical rain forest is a retreat center, flush greenery, clean oxygen, creative children and agragrian adults. Liberia’s fruitful 27000 sq miles overlook the scenic 270 mile Atlantic Ocean coastline. A home land blessed with so many natural resources: Rain forest, timber, iron ore, gold, diamond, now discovered oil and gas!
I have always been entreated as we traveled on missionary journeys throughout Liberia. Fruits of the land, include paw-paw, avocados, bananas, plantains, saw-saw, etc. Varieties of mangoes can be found on market stands as we enter the rainy season (May – October). God has promised to create the fruit of our lips. And as we experience the peace of God, we are healed.
Over the past four months, GYM/Liberia has experienced God’s fruits of peace and healing. And the fruit of the spirit: love, joy, peace … Galatians 5:22-23.
