For the past 45 years, I have been “going, making disciples, teaching” (Matthew 28:19-20) as a home missionary to our beloved Liberia. I am committing the remaining days of my earthly journey/life to the following:\
- Village Early Childhood Education in 3 villages (Sarpawean – 117 children), Cinta (378) & Fortsville (254), Margibi and Grand Bassa Counties.
- Training Teachers Transforming Communities, Teacher “C” Certificate Training.
2020/2021 Accomplishments:
- Prayer Newsletters, monthly overview: Mission partnership volunteers stateside and in Liberia (Zogos We Care[former child-soldiers and families living in ghettos], Jesus Approach Ministries -Penpens/Bikes Drivers, Children Nutritional Program; Restoration Ministries to Women and Communities; Liberia Council of Churches, Liberian View Think Tank, Contributor to business round table workshop, “Solutions & Access for Rural Healthcare in Liberia & Ghana” hosted by Georgetown University, University of Liberia, UCLA, US-Ghana Chamber of Commerce, Tyler Consulting, Chaired by Lydia Daniels, Chair, African Affairs Committee, United Nations Association).
- Salala Teachers’ Workshop: “Training Teachers Transforming Community” (125 teachers certificated).
- Ground-Breaking for Slakpawein Village Academy by Liberia’s VP Jewel Howard Taylor. Phase 1 Building Project is underway (8wk to completion $5,182.54 needed).
- Teachers’ Education Partnership formalized with Grand Bassa Community College.
- Self-Study Committee established: Government of Liberia renewal documents, grant writing, a documentary – Liberia, a 200 Year African American Story (1822-2022).
- Restructuring– Transformation = Vision+passion +inspiration + resources+ service
- Completed First International Audit of Go Ye Ministries Liberia USA, Inc. by Crowe Liberia (available on request).
